Breach of these terms and conditions requires any visitor to vacate the premises immediately. Please note, by signing our booking form you are agreeing to these terms and conditions:

Badaguish House Rules

Please respect them:

  • No noise outside after 11pm
  • No excess alcohol
  • No rowdy behaviour

You can help: If you have any concerns contact the Warden immediately - 07515 670641 (24hr contact)

1. A provisional booking can be made by email or telephone, this reserves your lodge for 10 working days. To secure the booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit toether with a completed and signed booking form must be received by Badaguish by the end of the 10 working day reservation period.
2. Cheques must be made payable to Badaguish Centre - we regret that we are unable to accept debit or credit card payments.
3. The balance of the rental cost is payable 6 weeks before arrival.
4. £100 cash bond per lodge (£150 for lets over 3 nights in the Winter) is payable on arrival (please note we may not allow access to your lodge until this has been paid). This will be returned via a cheque after your stay less the following costs:
  • Gas and electricity used - charged at cost via meter reading on day of departure. Badaguish has no mains gas therefore gas charges may be higher than you are used to. We can give you some guidance on average costs to help you budget for your stay.
  • £35 per lodge - an excess cleaning charge will be applied if accommodation is found to be in an unsatisfactory condition just prior to departure.
  • Centre guests and their visitors are responsible for all breakages/damages which will be charged at cost.
5. Arrival and departure times:
  • Your lodge will be available from 4pm on arrival day however you are welcome to arrive on site earlier in the day (to picnic, walk, cycle etc).
  • The booking form asks for a planned arrival time, you must inform Badaguish if your arrival time changes substantially. If you are liable to arrive very late (ie after 10pm), you must make arrangements with the Warden for access to your lodge, your welcome brief will normally take place the following morning.
  • You must leave your lodge by 10.00am on your departure day. You are welcome to leave your vehicle in the car park until later in the day if you wish to walk etc nearby during the day.
6. For the comfort and safety of other guests, guests who exhibit what we consider to be anti-social behaviour (including whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol), will be given a verbal warning. If the problematic behavior does not cease, they will be removed from the site, at their own cost - no monies will be refunded.
7. The buildings, fittings and equipment at the Centre are well maintained; adventure play items are perfectly safe if treated with respect and provide a terrific amount of fun.
8. Visitors must not interfere with any Centre services or equipment but should contact a member of staff for assistance when required.
9. All accidents, breakages or defects should be reported promptly.
10. Guests must inform the Warden (or another member of Badaguish’ staff) as soon as possible of any disturbances/problems with other site guests. Guests should not attempt to resolve such situations themselves.
11. A welcome brief and information pack will be provided on or soon after arrival. In the pack you will find details of members of staff to contact in an emergency or for other help or advice. There is usually a Warden on the site to advise/assist guests. Please do not disturb the Warden after 8pm unless strictly necessary.
12.

Participation in any outdoor pursuit, sports or countryside activities carries an inherent degree of risk. Badaguish is committed to providing the highest standards of Health and Safety to all visitors and staff.

Proper risk assessment and procedures are in place for all activities at Badaguish and for groups working under Badaguish staff supervision both on and off site. Full public liability insurance is held and Badaguish is a member of the Adventurous Activity Licensing Authority (AALA).

For those visitors carrying out their own supervised activities, appropriate precautions must be taken to ensure the safety of your groups. In particular, due regard made to weather, terrain, equipment and letting someone know your details when off site. Please satisfy yourself that all reasonable and sensible preparations have been made before going on any outing. Groups and individual supervisors are advised to check their own insurance cover, liability and qualifications for activities being carried out independent of Badaguish staff.
